There are a lot of spaces around a home that are fun to shoot! I love when families pile on to the parents' bed; it's personal and meaningful to photograph everyone in a living space where they would naturally spend time together; and oh man, backyards have their own special magic! But photographing a newborn in her nursery?!? That's tough to top. Meeting these new parents and seeing them so enamored with their little lady was just the best.
I love photos that help you remember the best parts of those early days with your new babe, which is why I love shots that feel like peeking in on your baby in their crib, or what it felt like looking down at them in your arms, or how tiny their head felt in your hands. Brand-new babies are changing by the week (maybe even by the day), and I'm always glad for the chance to capture those fresh-from-heaven details.
