Family of Eight Session: Rain and Shine . Mukilteo, WA
Rain in the PNW is ineveitable. This family of 8 was preparing to send an oldest son to college and had zero wiggle room to push their session out, so despite conditions that felt less-than-ideal we jumped in, rainboots first! And oh man, I am SO glad we did. I love the way the awnings above created really beautiful, dramatic lighting which made for fanastic portraits. This kind of lighting also makes for great black and white conversions. I am more convinced than ever that there are always great images to be made, no matter the weather.
